Itinerary
Our tour starts at Syntagma Square. Our driver will give you a brief overview of our tour and the places you are going to see during this sightseeing tour.
First you are going to see the Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament building. The Hellenic Parliament is located in the Old Royal Palace, also known as Parliament House, in Athens, Greece. This impressive Neoclassical building, constructed between 1836 and 1842, is situated on the east side of Syntagma Square, overlooking the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier – a monument located in front of the building and guarded by the Evzones, an elite regiment. Initially designed as the royal palace, it later became the seat of the Parliament in 1929.
Next we are going to pass through Panathenaic Stadium (also known as Kallimarmaron Stadium). A unique archaeological monument, a living symbol of the ancient and modern heritage of sport and the Olympic Games. Its attraction lies not only in its history, but the fact that it is the only stadium in the world built entirely from marble. That’s the reason the stadium in Greek is called “Kallimarmaro” which means “Nice Marble“.
With our sidecar we will quickly drive through the narrow streets of Plaka, Thisseion, Monastiraki where you can enjoy open air views of the greatness of Acropolis. We will pass from beautiful traditional streets that you will have the opportunity to take fantastic pictures and videos. Riding in a vintage sidecar is the most instagramnable experience offered in Athens.
Last stop of this beautiful tour is Dionysiou Aeropagitou street. An ancient street which offers the most stunning view of Acropolis of Athens.
